Trade runs on trust, and that includes how we handle your data. Here's what we collect, why, and how you stay in control, in plain words.

This policy covers the Otrovato platform (web, mobile app, and website), the B2B commerce & sourcing marketplace connecting MENA suppliers with buyers across Africa.

What we collect

What you tell us: your name, contact details, business details and verification documents, plus your RFQs, quotations, orders, and messages.
What helps the Platform work: basic device and usage information, such as your browser or app version, and crash reports that help us fix problems.

We don't handle payments, so we never ask for card or bank details. We don't track your location either.

How we use it

To run your account, connect you with the right buyers and suppliers, get your orders delivered, keep Otrovato safe, and keep improving it. We'll only send you news and offers if you've agreed to it, and you can opt out anytime.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share what a deal needs: with the business you're trading with, the logistics partners moving your goods, and trusted providers who help us run the Platform. We'll also share it if the law requires us to.

Because we connect markets, your data may be stored or handled in other countries. Wherever it goes, it stays protected by the same standards.

How we keep it safe

Your data is encrypted in transit and only the people who need it can access it. We keep it while your account is active, and after that only what the law asks us to keep, like tax records.

You're in control

You can view and update your details anytime in your account settings.

To close your account, go to Settings → Delete account. Changed your mind? Log back in within 30 days and everything's as you left it. After that, your data is permanently deleted.

A few more things

Otrovato is for businesses, and for people aged 18 and over.
On mobile, the app may ask to access your photos (to attach files) and to send notifications. You can change this anytime in your device settings.
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and let you know about anything important.
